• Application data: first name, last name, email address, phone number, WhatsApp number, location, experience, platforms of interest, availability, and your motivation for joining BetaGeeks.
• Account and authentication data: email and password used to log in to the BetaGeeks portal.
• Assignment and payment data: projects you are assigned to, assignment status, due dates, payment amounts, currency, payment status, payment dates, and related notes.
• Communication data: WhatsApp group links and related communication details used to coordinate testing assignments.
• Technical data: basic device and browser information, and your timezone (e.g., via Intl.DateTimeFormat().resolvedOptions().timeZone) to help us manage scheduling and communication.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to operate BetaGeeks and deliver the services you expect.

• To review and process your application to become a BetaGeeks tester.
• To create and manage your tester portal account.
• To assign you to relevant testing projects and track your progress.

• To calculate and record payments for completed assignments.

4. WhatsApp and Third-Party Tools

We use WhatsApp groups to coordinate testing assignments and provide real-time communication. Your phone number and WhatsApp profile information are subject to WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy. We encourage you to review those policies separately.

We may also use third-party tools (such as Firebase and Firestore) for authentication, data storage, and analytics. These providers process data on our behalf in line with their own privacy and security practices.
